Hakikat Nilai (Bagian-1)

Orang Batak memandang hakikat hidup sebagai suatu perjuangan menghadapi segala macam tantangan, baik yang nyata maupun yang gaib. Pandangan hidup semacam ini melahirkan perilaku yang dinamis, optimis dan tegar. Sebagai orang yang religius, mereka memandang hidup di dunia sebagai hidup yang sementara untuk mencari bekal bagi kehidupan yang kekal di akhirat. Segala perilakunya di dunia harus dipertanggungjawabkannya di akhirat. Baik buruknya kehidupan akhirat ditentukan oleh baik buruknya kehidupan di dunia. Sesuai dengan agama yang dianutnya, agama Islam, maka dia yakin tugas hidupnya di dunia adalah menegakkan kebenaran dan berjuang menghindari perbuatan jahat.
Sebagai manusia dinamis yang religius, orang Batak memandang hakekat karya manusia sebagai sesuatu tugas yang suci.

Tentang Piccala

Piccala adalah nama burung (bangsa unggas), ya ... sebagaimana burung-burung yang lain. Namun yang menjadi ciri khas pada jenis burung ini adalah tempat hidupnya yang biasanya pada daerah aliran sungai (sungai di pegunungan). Sungai yang gemercik airnya selalu terdengar, airnya yang jernih, mengalir disela-sela bebatuan. Beberapa bagian terkadang banyak terdapat air terjun. Disinilah burung ini biasanya hidup.

Burung ini warnanya kombinasi putih dan hitam membuat burung ini semakin terlihat bagus ketika dia terbang melayang bebas diantara bebatuan. Terbang dengan navigasi/olahgerak yang luar biasa baik sehingga belum pernah saya temukan ada yang menabrak batu.

Ya, suatu kehidupan alami yang saat ini sangat jarang ditemui.
